Prices

What discount can I receive?

We offer 10% discount on the list prices of all products published by Pergamon Flexible Learning (Super Series, Management Extra, CMI workbooks, textbooks, Activity packs). Register with our email update and you’ll receive regular bulletins of all discounts and special offers from our suppliers. Current special offers are shown above.

Contact us with details of your training needs and we’ll be happy to advise on the most appropriate package at the best possible price. We will always negotiate the best price for you from our suppliers and larger discounts are always available for substantial purchases.

Charities and public sector organisations may be eligible for discounts on some resource materials and course fees - so please contact us for details.

What if I find I can get it cheaper elsewhere?

Ordering

How do I order?

We accept on-line, written, email, telephone and faxed orders.

On-line orders: 24 hours

All other orders: Mon-Fri 8.30- 17.00

Why can’t I buy everything on-line?

It’s possible to buy almost all our products on-line but occasionally there is a reason why a pack can’t be seen in the on-line shop. This is usually because of complex pricing, so please get in touch if this is the case. If you can’t see what you need, get in touch: we can sometimes source it for you.

Payment

How do I pay?

There are two ways to pay for training products:

  1. You can use the Nochex facility for orders of up to £300.
  2. If you have an account with us you can pay by credit card, cheque or BACs, in which case we will send an invoice and payment will be due within 21 days. If you are a first time buyer we require a credit card payment, cheque or a purchase order from your organisation before we can process your order.

How do I set up an account?

Please contact us telling us you would like to set up an account. Alternatively order your goods through the online shop, select that you are a new customer and complete your account details.

How long does it take to set up an account?

Depending on status, if you are a new customer the account setup process may take up to seven working days. Please order your goods in the usual way and we will dispatch as soon as possible. If you need goods immediately you may prefer to pay by credit card until your new account is open.

How are consultancy services charged?

For consultancy services and course fees payment terms are negotiable; a percentage of the overall project fee will usually be required at the start of the contract.

Is VAT payable on all your products?

VAT is payable on all our products and services except textbooks and workbooks. VAT is shown separately in the basket for each item.

Can I preview a pack?

Yes, please get in touch if you would like to preview. We can arrange for immediate on-line free preview of Ivy Software courses for a trial period. Clips of other courses can be viewed on-line too – please ask.

If you wish to preview full VHS/DVD packs at your own address there may be a charge for this service, e.g. Video Arts charges £40.00 and Supernova £10.00. Any number of packs are included in this charge, which includes return postage.

What about postage?

As most training products are dispatched direct from the supplier to your address, we add the same postage as each supplier charges. This is reflected in the basket entry for each product. Postage for all Pergamon Flexible Learning resources is free.

Quoted postage rates are for standard carrier delivery. Next day delivery is possible but slightly more expensive. Please let us know if you need your materials immediately.

Delivery and returns

How soon can I expect delivery?

Delivery is normally direct to your address within 7 working days. If an item is out of stock we will tell you immediately and do our best to let you know when it will be available. If it is part of a larger order we will dispatch the rest of the order in the meantime.

Can I return the products if they are not suitable or if I change my mind?

Yes of course, provided you return them within two weeks of delivery and they are in as-new, resaleable condition. We will refund or credit your account on receipt of the returned goods. Since most items should be returned direct to the supplier, please advise us before returning any goods.

What about resources intended for trainers?

CD-Roms intended as resources for trainers (e.g. Activity packs) can be used for free download of content by trainers without restrictions.

Courseware CD Roms can be purchased either by intranet licence or for use on a limited number of PCs, for example within a resource centre. They may not be used in contravention of the terms of your licence. We can advise on the most suitable and cost-effective licence, depending on your circumstances.

Customisation

Is it possible to have products customised to suit the needs of my organisation?

Yes. We can quote for customisation of workbooks, CD Roms or online materials from suppliers. This ranges from simply the addition of your company logo to adding additional content.
